Inline with its charter the club exists to provide benefit to Rugby League while also embracing a broader community responsibility. In addition to providing support to local community groups the club believes that community service also encompasses ensuring that its operations take into consideration the impact both socially and environmentally on the community.

Community SCORE!

In 2004 the club operated its pilot Community Score program as an attachment to its popular Scorecard loyalty system. Community score is a mechanism for the club to distribute funds based on the preferences of the club's members. When joining or renewing their membership, members can select an organisation from a list provided by the club, as their community score recipient. For every 4 Scorecard points a member earns, the club donates 1 point to its community score pool. At the end of the clubs financial year, this pool is divided amongst the community groups based on the percentage of community score participants who have selected their organisation. In 2004 the club distributed funding totaling almost $17500 through the program.

In 2005 the club remodeled the community score program to focus in 3 key areas being education, sport & community service. With ever increasing support the bar was raised as the total distributed funds between the participating community organizations reached $20,223.45. This was only possible due to our member support of the program.

The target cash pool for 2006 is $25,000.
